AHMC Health Foundation

Blood Drive Mission Statement

The AHMC Health Foundation, a non-profit organization formed in 2009, exists to improve the quality of life for people in the communities served by AHMC hospitals. The Foundation intends to focus on addressing the disparities in health care particularly those that are the result of cultural and linguistic barriers that impede individuals from accessing care. The Foundation recognizes that the needs of communities differ due to a multitude of socioeconomic factors and that no singular approach to addressing unmet health needs is sufficient.

To address the shortage of blood supply in the community, AHMC Health Foundation will organize a series of blood donation events every year in partnership with the American Red Cross. The Foundation dedicates this website to raising awareness and taking initiative to better our community.

The Foundation dedicates this website to raising awareness and providing a vessel of connection and communication for community members, donors, and sponsors to work together to save lives.
